ACS to build elevated metro line in Vancouver, Canada



The Government of British Columbia has awarded the consortium formed by ACS’s construction company Dragados Canada and local firm Ledcor Investments a new elevated metro line for Vancouver’s public transport network.

 The ‘Surrey Langley SkyTrain’ elevated line is a 16-kilometre extension that will connect the centre of Surrey, a metropolitan area of Vancouver, with Langley City Centre in a 22-minute journey from 2028. Systra International Bridge Technologies will be in charge of the design of the project, whose implementation is responsibility of the Government of British Columbia. The total investment is C$4,010 million, some €2,800 million.
