The sixteenth edition of the International Conference on Engineering for High Speed, organised by Fundación Caminos de Hierro, will take place in Córdoba from June 14 to 16, 2023.

The Conference will gather national and international experts on high speed from the civil engineering point of view. On this occasion, as in 2022, it will be a fully face-to-face event instead of the hybrid model of the September 2021 conference.
The event will include round tables and debates about inland navigation versus railway and high speed versus autonomous vehicles as a new technological dilemma. The liberalization of passenger services in high speed will also be covered. The specialized sessions on track gauge, magnetic levitation, news on the international high-speed scene and major railway engineering projects will follow. As part of the ‘Technological Innovation’ section, the new adjustable gauge axle solution for freight trains will be discussed.
