The Canton of Sarajevo has awarded the consortium led by IDOM and the local engineering firm PPG the contract for the analysis of alternatives and preliminary design for the modernization of the Remiza tram depot.

The project will adapt the operations, parking, and maintenance facilities to accommodate the current and future tram fleet. To this end, the work will include assessing the existing facilities, defining operational requirements, analysing various modernization alternatives, and developing the technical documentation necessary for the future construction bid.
