The GENVIA project, led by Inse Rail, is aimed at developing a new methodology for the digitalisation and automated generation of railway signalling information. Classified by the CDTI as a Research and Development (R&D) project, GENVIA will enable the development of ‘a data model-based system integrating railway infrastructure, signalling and operational information to automatically generate consistent technical representations, improve information traceability and strengthen validation processes throughout the design of railway installations’.
