ONxpress Civils Contractor General Partnership (ONxpress), a 50/50 consortium between Aecon and FCC Canada, has executed alliance contracts with Metrolinx to advance the ‘GO Expansion’ project in Ontario.

The ‘GO Expansion’ project has been launched with the aim of improving the commuter rail network in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and is one of the largest rail projects in the country. During the execution of the project, improvements will be made to the alignment and quality of the local network’s lines, transforming them into a transport system with greater frequency, capacity and reliability, thereby improving access to and from downtown Toronto and Hamilton.
