(14/09/2026)

The delivery of these vehicles follows the contract awarded in September 2022, under which the Australian Capital Territory, through Canberra Metro Operations – the operator of the Canberra tramway line – commissioned CAF to supply five additional trams equipped with OESS (Onboard Energy Storage Systems) to operate on catenary-free track sections. These five trams are in addition to the fourteen units previously supplied to the Australian capital under the first contract, which was signed in February 2016.
