This project envisages the creation of an almost 1,000-kilometre corridor linking Toronto and Quebec City. The new network will significantly reduce journey times and strengthen connectivity between the country’s major urban centres. Ineco’s role is to support Transport Canada in achieving the project’s objectives, drawing on its extensive expertise in engineering and transport. The initiative will be delivered through a collaborative approach involving Transport Canada, VIA Rail and ALTO, the public corporation responsible for developing and implementing the high-speed rail network, together with its private-sector partner, Cadence.
