Teltronic deploys TETRA system on Buenavista-AIFA Suburban Train in Mexico



The company has been responsible for deploying the TETRA communications system serving the new Buenavista-Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) Suburban Train, which connects the Mexican capital with Felipe Ángeles International Airport and began operating on 27 April 2026.

Teltronic has installed the necessary base stations to provide TETRA coverage along the 28 kilometres of the new section between Lechería station and AIFA, and to ensure train-to-ground communications throughout the entire route. Furthermore, the company has fitted the ten trains entering service on the line with its RTP-800 on-board radio and has supplied the portable and fixed radios used by supervisory and safety staff, amongst others.
