New CAF maintenance depot in Manchester



CAF has opened its new service facilities at Lowry Park, Manchester. They are intended for the maintenance and overhaul of various key components, such as wheels and bogies.

The new CAF facilities cover an area of 5,000 m². Maintenance and overhaul work will be carried out there on various key components, such as wheels and bogies. This opening is expected to expand the scope of their activities, with the aim of supporting the next generation of rail services. This depot ‘will ensure faster response times and greater fleet reliability, delivering safer and more efficient maintenance services’.
