The Spanish railway infrastructure manager, Adif, has renewed two agreements with PKP PLK and Port Polska, under which they will continue their technical collaboration, operational visits and the exchange of expertise between Spain and Poland in the field of railways.

In this new phase, the focus will be on collaborating with PKP PLK and Port Polska in areas such as the development of new networks, the modernisation of the existing system and innovation, among other aspects. This line of work reinforces the agreements already in place in Poland. Among these, in 2021, the then Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, during the Bilateral Summit between Spain and Poland held in Alcalá de Henares, also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the development of the ‘Solidarity Transport Hub’ (CPK) project.
