Talgo’s new rolling stock will be used to connect the south of the country with the northernmost cities, running even through latitudes above the Arctic Circle. The contract, worth approximately €756 million, includes an initial firm order for the supply of ten locomotives, nine daytime compositions, and eleven overnight compositions of the Talgo 230 intercity platform. It also covers their maintenance for a period of ten years, including the supply of spare parts and special tools, and other associated services.
