Stadler to supply eight CITYLINK tram-trains to the Danish city of Aarhus



Stadler has been awarded a contract to build eight CITYLINK tram-trains for the Danish city of Aarhus. The new vehicles will be designed and manufactured at Stadler Valencia’s facilities.

Aarhus Letbane has awarded Stadler the supply of eight tram-trains. The agreement also includes an option for twelve additional vehicles as well as spare parts management. This contract, signed on 2nd December 2025, builds on a partnership that began several years ago, when Stadler supplied trams and tram-trains for Aarhus’ light rail network. The new vehicles will be designed and manufactured at Stadler Valencia.
