The Spanish Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, has held a meeting in Istanbul with his Turkish counterpart, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, during which they discussed matters of interest in the field of transport and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between Spain and Turkey.

(30/06/2025) The aim of the meeting, which was the first face-to-face meeting between the two ministers, was to discuss various current bilateral issues related to transport in both countries. The two ministers also expressed great interest in the development of transport infrastructure projects in Turkey, especially with respect to the railway and high-speed trains.
