Contracts for Comsa in Croatia and Poland



Comsa Emte has been awarded three contracts, one in Croatia for the construction of a new 12.2 km line between Gradec and Sveti Ivan Zabno; and two in Poland for the modernisation of the Warsaw Gdansk station and the construction of a railway overpass in the city of Lódz.


Contracts for Comsa in Croatia and Poland

(30/09/2015)  HZ Infrastruktura, the public administrator of the railway network in Croatia, has awarded Comsa a contract to build a new suburban railway line for mixed traffic between the towns of Gradec and Sveti Ivan Zabno, 40 kilometres from the capital, Zagreb.

Comsa will also be rebuilding the stations of Sveti Ivan Zabno and Gradec and will construct new access roads and connections and nine kilometres of forest roads. The works also include the construction of a car park and the safety installations, interlocking and telecommunications. The project has an implementation period of 26 months.

Poland

In Poland, Comsa and its local subsidiary Trakcja Prkii have won a contract for the modernisation of the railway infrastructure, the overhead contact line and the telecommunication systems of the Warsaw Gdansk train station.

Trakcja has also been awarded the contract to raise the stretch of railway line connecting the stations of Lódz Fabryczna and Lódz Widzew, currently situated at ground level. An underpass for the crossing of vehicles will also be provided.
