(29/07/2015)  The units can now be operated with no restrictions on the regional lines between Hochstetten and Bad Herrenalb/Ittersbach, managed by Karlsruhe operator AVG. Before that and since October 2014, Citylink trains had been running through Karlsruhe tram network, operated by VBK.

Vossloh Spain produces the bogies and the car bodies and assembles the vehicles at its manufacturing plant in Albuixec, while Vossloh Kiepe designs and develops the electric traction equipment.

The contract, which was concluded in 2011, comprises delivery of 25 vehicles and an option for another 25 vehicles. 15 vehicles have already been supplied by Vossloh; the other 35 vehicles will be delivered step by step until the summer of 2017.
