Altran will carry out the evaluation of the supply, implementation, installation and commissioning of a signalling system for the control of four kilometres of double track on the section between the stations of Niquía and Madera on Line A of Medellín Metro in Colombia.

The Mass Transport Company of Valle de Aburrá is carrying out the project for the technology update of the signalling system involving Medellín Metro’s lines A and B as part of its 2010-2030 replacement plan.

The Valle de Aburrá urban train, known as Medellín Metro, is the only metro system in the country and is composed of three lines of commercial service that make a total extension of 34.5 km and 27 stations.
