(26/03/2015)  A delegation comprising ten companies participated in this first edition. The representatives learnt more about the European Union’s main railway programmes and the investments aimed at transport projects.

Included in the schedule were meetings with experts from two departments of the European Commission: the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (DG Move), where the Trans-European Transport Network (Ten-T), the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and the Juncker Plan were presented; and the Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (Europe Aid), where details of the Funds for Transport in the Euromed countries were discussed.

Meetings were also held with the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA); Izaskun Bilbao, Member of the European Parliament Committee on Transport and Tourism since 2009; and Paloma Iribas, Counsellor for Transport at the Permanent Representation of Spain before the European Union.
