A consortium led by OHL will reconstruct a railway section in Slovenia



A consortium led by OHL ŽS, Czech subsidiary company of the OHL Group, will reconstruct a 7.5-km double-track railway section between Dolga Gora and Poljčane, in Slovenia.

The contract, in which OHL participates with a 70% stake, has been awarded by the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia with a total budget of 23.5 million euros. The reconstruction in the 7.5-km double-track section refers both to the superstructure as well as infrastructure of the railway.

OHL ŽS has been awarded other construction contracts in Central and Eastern Europe, in particular two road projects in Moldova for the amount of 37.8 million euros, and a correctional facility in Bosnia worth 26.5 million euros.
