Teltronic to supply Tetra solution for first light rail transit system in Indonesia

PT Mobinet Indonesia has selected Teltronic to supply the Tetra radio communications solution for a light rail transit system in the Indonesian city of Palembang, which will be the first one in operation in the Asian country.

The company will be in charge of the whole infrastructure, from the switching control node and base stations that will cover the complete line to the control centre. Teltronic will deploy its Nebula communications infrastructure.

The solution also includes the hand-portable and mobile radios as well as the onboard units, which are controlled through an 8” touchscreen console that is highly configurable.
