Engineering group Sener opens division in India



The engineering and technology group Sener has opened a division in India with offices in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai. This new location follows the development of previous projects in the country in the fields of Infrastructure & Transport, Aerospace, Marine, and Power & Process.

(31/03/2014)  Sener India has the aim not only to develop local projects but also work for global contracts abroad, focusing on projects where the technological differentiation is key to compete worldwide.

In India Sener has been involved in the two master plan contracts for the development and remodelling of railway stations Shivaji Nagar, in the city of Pune (Maharashtra), and Bijwasan, in New Delhi; and a couple of pre-bid design engineering services for leading construction companies bidding for the government institution Dedicated Freight Corridor.

With the opening of this division, Sener manages a staff of approximately 5,500 professionals in its offices in Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, South Korea, Chile, China, Colombia, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, India, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Portugal and the UK. In 2012 the group’s operation turnover amounted to 1,175 million euros.
