OHL obtains three railway contracts in the Czech Republic




The Czech Republic Railway Infrastructure Administration has awarded three contracts for a total amount of 125 million euros to three consortiums in which OHL ŽS, OHL Group’s subsidiary, participates.

The first contract, with a budget of 74 million euros, consists in the optimization of the Český Těšín – Dětmarovice railway line. This contract has been awarded to the consortium formed by Subterra (38%), Eurovia (30%), OHL ŽS (24%) and GJW Praha (8%).

The second project, with a budget of 34 million euros, is aimed at the reconstruction of the communication and safety facility at the Veselí nad Moravou railway station, and it was awarded to the consortium formed by Signalbau (50%), OHL ŽS (24%), Eurovia (24%) and AZD (2%).

The third modernisation project focuses on increasing the track speed on the Kuřim-Tišnov railway section. It amounts to 17 million euros and has been awarded to the 50/50 consortium formed by OHL ŽS and Subterra.
