Indra to deploy its contactless ticketing technology in Kuala Lumpur´s Metro




Indra will implement its ticketing technology in the Sungai-Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya line, the second Metro line in the Klang Valley region, the metropolitan area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s national capital.


Indra to deploy its contactless ticketing technology in Kuala Lumpur´s Metro

 Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT Corp) has awarded Indra the contract in a consortium with the local company Rasma Corporation, for an amount of 33.2 million euros. Indra will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, testing and commissioning of all contactless ticketing technology for the second Metro line of the Klang Valley MRT project.

The contract includes systems and machines for manual and automatic ticket sales, access control systems, software, the central ticketing system, economic management systems and station control equipment, among others.
