“Greenways 4 All” kick-off conference to be held in Madrid



On 30 September the headquarters of Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles (Spanish Railway Foundation) will hold in Madrid the kick-off conference of the “Greenways 4 All” project, which aims to improve accessibility to and around greenways as well as the quality of the tourism supply, with a special focus on providing accessible routes for persons with disability.

Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles, as the project coordinator, and the European Greenways Association have organised this conference whose full name is “Accessible Tourism on European Greenways: Greenways For All”.

Nine partners from Spain and Portugal participate in the “Greenways 4 All" European project, which will officially kick off coordinated by Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles at the conference held in Madrid.

“Greenways 4 All” is 75% co-funded by the COSME Programme of European Union’s Agency EASME, which is specialised in the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. The project has a total budget of €166,148.60 and a completion period of 18 months.
