Euskotren extends its presence at SNCF Hendaye station

(13/09/2016)

The machine, which joins regular services at platforms, waiting room, ticketing and customer service, aims to strengthen and facilitate the flow of passengers from Bayonne, Dax or Bordeaux to San Sebastian or Irun through Euskotren’s “Topo” line.

An information totem shows real-time timetables of SNCF, Euskotren and intercity services that meet at the station terminal. It is a similar totem to the one that is operative at Lyon station.

Previously, thanks to an agreement reached between the Basque and French rail operators, blue footprints were painted on the pavement and floor of Hendaye station’s Place de la Gare, with the aim of directing passengers along 20 metres from SNCF station to Euskotren station.
