High Speed Two (HS2), responsible for developing UK's new high-speed rail network, has awarded Engineering Delivery Partner for High Speed 2 - Phase 1 contract to the joint venture formed by CH2M, Atkins and Sener.

The consortium will work for the oncoming ten years on the design, construction and commissioning of the new London-Birmingham high-speed line, 230 km long.
The contract comprises supporting preparation for the procurement of the main civil work packages, including stations and rail systems, as well as supervision, coordination and management of project engineering, construction and commissioning.
