San José Constructora to design and build five Metro stations in India



City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharastra (CIDCO), agency under the State Government of Maharashtra, has awarded San José Constructora the contract for the design and construction of five elevated stations for the new Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1.
 


San José Constructora to design and build five Metro stations in India

(15/06/2012)  Central Park of Kharghar, Pethpada, Sector 34 Kharghar, Panchanand and Pendhar are the stations that comprise Line 1 of Navi Mumbai metro system. Navi Mumbai is a new municipality in the State of Maharashtra with a total population over 2 million inhabitants and located within the metropolitan area of Bombay.

All five metro stations will be elevated. The contract includes the design of the project, the construction of the stations and the rail corridor thereof, as well as the implementation of passenger access areas, facilities and related finishing works.
