GMF, first Spanish company certified for maintenance of wagons in Europe

(12/04/2013)  GMF is the first Spanish company (and one of the first in Europe) to obtain the certificate, which permits maintenance management of wagons used throughout the European Union rail network.

Obtaining this certificate complies with the requirements established by existing European Community Law (Regulation 445/2011), which requires all wagons to be assigned an entity in charge of maintenance before May 31, 2013 to be allowed to operate.

GMF is specialized in the repair and comprehensive maintenance of railway rolling stock for wagons, locomotives and auxiliary track machinery, with expertise in the management and maintenance of their own machinery, consisting of more than 100 vehicles and 300 wagons.

Likewise, Gestión de Maquinaria Ferroviaria is specialized in railway machinery hire services and the manufacture and sale of spare parts and components.
